the korean animation industry is famous for its role as subcontractor for us-american and japanese studios.
in this position it is not easy to produce own works because korean companies are bound to their role if they want to survive economically.
even under these circumstances a scene of korean animators has evolved that works on projects individually.
the problem is that there is hardly a forum for them to show what they got.

MASSISM and PLATOON KUNSTHALLE created a space to present a selection of these works, ranging from short films to trailers for series.
the directors will be present on the day of the screening and briefly intoduce themselves and their works.
